Cutting detention to repair the air purification method in school

It was another afternoon in detention, and this time around, it was not something that was not my doing.

Thirty minutes later, it was getting a little too stuffy for comfort; Even the educator on duty observed the change in indoor air conditions, being a guy who can barely keep still, I was bored out of my mind.

When it was apparent that there was something wrong with the air quality systems, I asked the educator if I could have a look at the Heating and Air Conditioning unit… At first, he thought I was joking, or I wanted to leave detention, however when I insisted he asked me, he asked me if I had ever dealt with an whole-house air purifier. When I told his that my guardian worked at the local supplier and I had l received the workings of some heat and AC products, he called the maintenance guy who led me to the unit. The first thing I inspected was the air filter, then it was so dirty, and I was relieved to find out that it was a washable filter, so I cleaned it. The next thing was to check the thermostat, and the un-even temperatures were high. After inspecting the heat pump and finding that everything was okay according to the little knowledge, I proceeded to check out the ductwork. There were leaks, and since I did not have any duct tape, they would have to call a professional for duct sealing and duct cleaning not just because the air ducts had years of dust however also to find a possible blockage in the vents. By the time I got back to class, detention time was almost over. I also observed that the educator had brought in an media whole-house air purifier from the staffroom, undoubtedly empty. I reported my findings and asked his to take the necessary actions.
