For several years now I have been thinking about what I’m going to do for retirement.
I am 57 years old now and I would love to get out of the Working World when I’m 62.
In fact, if the truth be known, I’d like to get out tomorrow. Of course that’s not realistic. Anyway oh, for the last five years I have been making additional payments on my house in hopes that I will have it paid off by the time I’m 62. I have also been trying to pay off all my debt which includes some credit cards and a student loan. I have made great progress. I don’t know much about my house anymore, and I always planned to just move into it. Right now I am renting it out. Anyway, I have been starting to think about tiny homes instead. Affordable tiny homes are a fabulous retirement solution. I like the idea of purchasing a remote piece of property that doesn’t have a million zoning laws, and building my own modular affordable homes. If I could afford to build a modular affordable home, I could live in one and rent the other for income. I am going to have to look into the costs and other details associated with Affordable Home Solutions. I have an interest in shipping container homes, and a friend of mine told me that there is such a thing as a modular shipping container home.I’m really not sure what the difference is. Also, I have driven through a Southern state and noticed lots of retirement homes that are called affordable modular homes. I am not sure at all how those work, but I suspect you have to pay a lot of fees.
