Ben has been our best employee for over a decade, however i am extremely sad to see the guy retire, although I guess that it is time, but he’s been working since he was fifteen years seasoned and the guy clearly deserves a break… Unluckyly for me, he is also the best employee that I have working for the Heating and Air Conditioning service business; Ben handles all of the commercial Heating and Air Conditioning repairs on boilers.
He’s the only guy I have currently that can handle commercial boiler work.
I knew it was going to be hard to find someone to substitute Ben, so I started looking as soon as I found out that he was going to retire. I decided to use a staffing service that specializes in technically skilled laborers, and the contractor has a list of plumbers, electricians, and Heating and Air Conditioning servicemans that need work. I had a couple of candidates to interview the day after I made the request, however one of the people that I interviewed was a guy named Julie. I did not have any female employees before I decided to hire Julie, but he stood out among all others that I interviewed. She has a military background and a ton of experience with commercial heating and air conditioners, including compact boilers. She was the perfect candidate for the job. She wanted a bit more currency than I was willing to pay, however every one of us found a locale to meet in the middle after I interviewed his for the job. I guess he is going to fit in superb on our team. I can’t wait to see what he can do.
