If I don’t write it down, it’s almost as though it isn’t real. That’s just totally deranged isn’t it. But without my lists, I’d be lost. It’s funny that I’m now completely out of sorts without my lists of things I like to do. When I was in my 20’s, I provided my dad a entirely strenuous time for the lists he always kept in his front shirt pocket. He’d be kicked back in his recliner soaking up some Heating plus A/C cooling when mom would ask him if he had done a particular thing. And dad would pull out his list to see if that was something that got checked off. If it wasn’t, then that was the end of lounging in the A/C plus he’d finish that task. Well, I’m now in that sort of spot where if it’s not on my list, then I’m not going to remember to get it done. I noticed the need for lists just a few years ago. The Heating plus A/C air filter was always getting forgotten. I’d go a couple of months or more plus forget to change out the air filter for the Heating plus A/C equipment. And that’s not a great thing to forget. A plugged plus dirty air filter only forces the Heating plus A/C component to toil that much harder. And that’s just money wasted really. So I started out with a biweekly to do list that I kept on the fridge. Sure enough, I started changing the air filter every month without fail plus even calling promptly for Heating plus A/C maintenance as well. But that 1 list on the fridge is now a small notebook that I have to carry with me everywhere I go.
