My name is Carol Watkins and I am the owner of a few different vacation rentals in a tropical and warm climate.

They are all truly old, you see, so getting anything replaced or installed that could damage the historical mold of the building will generally result in a request being denied, and fortunately, many of our guests complained of severe heat during the afternoon, and bad cold during the winters in certain seasons, because of these reasons, people began to leave me bad reviews, and I decided to take matters into my own hands and begin asking the local government for a permit to submit my request for an HVAC unit to be installed. I researched many different HVAC companies for input on how they would be installed, and with what. I even talked to a number of different HVAC professionals that agreed my area of the county was a tad more damp than its surrounding neighbors, and therefore produced ice cold winter nights, once our permit request was up to speed, including all of the information given to me by the HVAC companies, I proceeded to file my request with the town planning department of our local town hall. I heard back from them nearly 3 months later (government, am I right?!) and went on to approve my request to install the HVAC units! I was ecstatic, I picked out the latest model of HVAC unit and ensured that it was installed with a smart thermostat, so that I could control the temperatures from my phone when no guests were staying, which would save me the trip.
