I was particularly excited when I had my new ductless mini chop delivered to my home.

There were quite a few weird boxes, but that’s because I had a 5 zoned Heating & A/C plan here.

The best section was that it is DIY so there is no need for a professional upgrade. I basically had the upgrade video memorized, however I still kept it on my iPhone as a reference to make sure I didn’t miss any important steps. One step that I already had completed before the new Heating & A/C plan arrived was the slab to hold the outdoor condenser unit. I found the perfect spot, dug into the ground a little and poured sand to level the area. Then I set up a wood frame to pour the concrete mixture. I filled it half way and then put in my metal bar supports to keep the concrete slab stable without cracking. Then when that was ready, I poured the remainder of the concrete into the slab and of course made sure everything was leveled off appropriately. Everything was dried and ready to go when my Heating & A/C arrived. Then I got started with hooking up a single indoor equipment at a time. It sincerely took myself and others numerous days to finish this upgrade, but it was worth the difficult work! I sincerely considered calling in an electrician to take care of the electric hookups. Fortunately, I figured out how to install the utility shut off and I installed a small fuse box with a 30 amp fuse to connect to the Heating & A/C. The electric section was not unquestionably simple, but now I have an amazing Heating & A/C plan in my apartment with 5 zones!
