When our heating and air conditioner plan broke down, I knew it was going to cause a problem.
I was the 1 who discovered the HVAC component broke down first, and I cringed when it did. I didn’t cringe because of the air conditioning system machine being broken, I cringed because I knew what my husband was going to say even before he knew there was a problem. We have had conversations prefer this before, and it goes something along the lines of, I would tell him that I would prefer to call a HVAC specialist out. My husband would then ask myself and others why call out a HVAC repairman when he could try to service it himself? I would tell him he has no air conditioning system experience and therefore is not qualified, but he would show myself and others half a dozen peculiar videos of people repairing their HVAC system systems successfully. That would still not convince me, and the two of us would go back and forth. He would keep insisting that he could do it, and I would keep insisting he couldn’t. I thought the conversation was over because he quit bringing it up, even though I was in for a surprise. When I came lake house from work the next day, I saw he was toiling away at the HVAC machine despite my protests. He obviously had been toiling there for awhile, and by the looks of it, was having no luck. He eventually did admit he wasn’t sure how to put it back together, nor what the concern was, which only proved my point further. We had to call an air conditioning system specialist to service it, and thankfully my husband didn’t do any disfigure.
