I am about to go to school to become a certified heating and air conditioning specialist.

• I just got out of high school a few months ago and in the fall this will all take place.

However, finding the right school to get my heat and a/c certification is another thing. I have been calling around to several schools that offer heating and air conditioning classes to see which is the best priced and that fits my schedule and needs. I am working a job at the same time as this, so I do not have time to do the so called college thing and go away to school. Thankfully when it comes to heating and air conditioning education this is not required. They are just like going to school for a few hours a day or sometimes only a few time a week. Calling all these different schools about their HVAC educational programs has been quite a task and quite taxing to tell you the honest truth. Calling the heating and air conditioning schools has been a job in itself. However I finally did end up finding the school that was both the right price and the right hours after going through nearly one hundred of them in the local area and surrounding cities. I will begin my education into the world of heating and air conditioning repair and installation starting in September. And I can not tell you how much I am really looking forward to it all! I am looking forward to getting my career in life.

At first I was really upset about having to take a loan out in order to get a brand new central heating and air conditioning system.

I really had no choice in the matter because the old central heat and a/c unit had seen its day. It was totally blown out! It was either I invest in a brand new central heating and air conditioning system or die from heat stroke with no air conditioning because of how hot it is over here. Well, after getting the brand new central heating and air conditioning system I did not feel so bad anymore. Because of how great the air conditioning was working I can see that it was well worth taking the loan out and paying the price for this wonderful and ever so powerful central heat and a/c unit! The air conditioning flows so good and hard that even with it being over one hundred and five degrees outside, I sometimes have to turn off the air conditioning for a little bit because it gets to be freezing cold in here! Freezing while it is over one hundred degrees outside is nothing short of amazing. It goes to show how great this central heating and air conditioning system is and how well it works. I also make sure that I change the air filter out every single month as needed. Even if there is a slight chance that I do not need to change out the air filter I do it anyway just to be on the safe side of things. It is better to be safe than sorry!

If I had known that this was coming, I would have bought a portable space heater for the occasion to give my central heating and air conditioning system a rest

We have been hit with a ton of snow this week. We haven’t had snow storms this wild in about 10 years or so. This in turn has made the temperatures really low and cold. I have had to crank the living heck out of my central heating and air conditioning system on the heater setting. Usually I am able to run the central heating off and on throughout the day to keep the house warm in the winter. But right now the central heating has to run nearly twenty four hours a day and seven days a week in order to even fight off the cold. Also with being heavy snow, I have not been able to go to work and have been working from home. Which even makes the use of my central heating more so. If I had known that this was coming, I would have bought a portable space heater for the occasion to give my central heating and air conditioning system a rest. But who could foresee the future right? Anyway, this is probably going to last for at least the next week or so before going back to normal weather and the snow beginning to melt. So in the in the meantime I have to just deal with the fact that the central heating and air conditioning system will be overworking itself on the heater setting and be prepared for the large energy bills that will be coming my way next month for having to use all of this heating! I wish it were cheaper to run central heating and air conditioning systems, I really do!

The weather this week has been totally insane.

It has been unusually freezing cold. I live in the southwest part of the country and usually this time of the year it is in the low 80s. We have been having temperatures in the 40s at night and in the day it has been in the mid 50s. My central heating system has been working overtime! I am not used to having the central heating going on this time of the year so much. Sure at night sometimes you need it for a little bit, but not all the time. The heater has been going so much that I decided to give it a break last night. I did this by taking my portable space heater and putting it in my bedroom while I slept. The portable space heater is so powerful so it keeps the room super warm no matter how cold it is. The only thing was when I woke up early this morning I was hit with a freezing living room! The thermostat read 59 degrees which is freezing for out in this part of the country. I had to turn on the central heating cranked in order to warm it up. While it warmed up I sat in the bedroom with the nice warm space heater still going. Finally after about 20 minutes the living room and front end of the house started to warm up enough to where I could have something to eat for breakfast and take a shower. Next week it is supposed to be back in the 80s again. This weather has been really crazy!

Last weekend was me and my girlfriend’s 6th anniversary.

To celebrate we went out for a night on the town and a great classy and fancy dinner.

It was a rather warm night so it wasn’t as enjoyable as it would have been had our anniversary been in the fall, spring or even winter. But the restaurant we went to at least had some really good central air conditioning! That made the night start off really nice. Because of the great air conditioning we took our time and really gort to enjoy our dinner. We even ordered desert, which is something both of us normally do not do in restaurants. But because of that really great air conditioning system that they had going on in there we wanted to stay as long as we could without being asked to leave. We spent about 2 hours in there, which is very long for a dinner, even a classy one. But again, it was all because of the top quality, very nice and super powerful commercial heating and air conditioning system that they had in this place. When it was time to leave we ended up driving around and looking at the skyline, the city lights, etc with the car’s air conditioning running real nice. Then when it was all done we went back to my place to do the deed so to speak. And it was of course in quality air conditioning! Because I have one of the best central heating and air conditioning systems on the market today.

I can only imagine what I would feel like if I had to be there for hours on end in that terrible air quality! I would probably bring a portable air purification system to work with me every single day of the week if this was the case

One thing I really do not like and dread having to do is get gas on my way home from work. It has to be done every week at some point, but I hate it because the gas station in town here has the worst air quality! It is from all the gas tanks and trucks that come in and out of that place. Even in the little convenient store that’s at the gas station is bad air quality in there. I mentioned it to the cashier and they agreed totally. I asked them how on earth they could work in such horrible air quality. They told me that they just get used to it and they go outside for a breather every hour. Out in the back the air quality isn’t so bad for some reason they told me. I am just glad I do not have to work there in that bad air quality. Coming to get gas and walking into that convenient store to pay is bad enough. Being here for 10 minutes is horrible and makes me feel bad. I can only imagine what I would feel like if I had to be there for hours on end in that terrible air quality! I would probably bring a portable air purification system to work with me every single day of the week if this was the case. Air quality is very important in a work environment. With bad air quality the workers can not do a good job and even function right. I really feel for these gas station employees having to deal with such bad air quality all day long.

I had the worst day at work today.

The central heating and air conditioning system went out and it is pretty darn hot out! They called the local heat and a/c company to send out a heating and cooling specialist. But they were not able to get someone out there till after business hours. Which meant we had to spend the rest of the day with no air conditioning! This made me very tired all together. Having no air conditioning when it is that hot out is bad all around. Had I not needed the money, I would have just left early like many others did. But because I need the cash and am kind of struggling right now, I had to suffer through this with the management and a few others. I did actually get a little extra hourly pay for staying in there with no air conditioning. So that part was good. But the way I feel now and how tired I am is just like, wow! I am so glad I am now in quality air conditioning. I have a really good central heat and a/c unit in my home that pumps out the greatest air conditioning money can buy in a residential home. I spent a lot on this heating and cooling system unit. Tomorrow the air conditioning at work should be fixed. The heat and a/c specialist was supposed to come about an hour after all employees went home for the day. I just hope everything worked out fine and that tomorrow I will walk into work as per normal with air conditioning!

 

 

New HVAC systems

I remember when I was a kid and teenager growing up we had the best malls.

Malls are something that is becoming more and more scarce today because of the change of the times and especially the internet killing retail stores.

Today’s generation and even the one before that would know nothing about the joys of going to the mall when I was young! I remember they had this one big fountain where people would throw pennies in and make wishes. That was really awesome. It was right by this food court that had the best fast food places too. I remember watching folks throw pennies in the fountain while eating lunch. One time I noticed a heating and air conditioning specialist messing with and taking apart the air vents of the commercial heat and a/c system by the fountain. They had the air vents in the floors. It turned out that several pennies that people threw missed the fountain and ended up piling up in the air vents of the commercial heating and air conditioning system! I guess what they were doing was cleaning them out before they got into the ductwork and jammed up the entire HVAC flow within the mall. That would have caused them to have to close down for a day or more. Fixing commercial heating and air conditioning is nothing like residential heating and air conditioning systems. Ahh the memories of the mall! Things like this are so original and crazy you can’t make them up! I really miss malls and the way they were back in the 1970’s and 1980’s. Kids today just don’t know what they missed out on.
