Does anybody else get identifiably tied up out during the month of June? For some reason, I have numerous recollections of this month of being identifiably anxiety inducing for me.

I assume it’s hard because the weather is beginning to change and I never quite know what to expect.

Every week seems like it could be the last round of nice weather before winter starts to settle in. This puts a lot of pressure on every single thing that I do. I feel like I need to be outside enjoying the bright Sunshine, boiling air, and decreasing humidity before the horrors of winter fully engulf the area. I’m not excited at the idea of using my central heating system in the form of my forced air furnace for the foreseeable future. I also don’t love shaking in my boots because of the cold air that’s around me everyday. The worst part is, I start thinking about the upcoming holidays. I don’t identifiably love having my family over at my home so they can mess with my belongings and my central HVAC system. Every year it seems like my family members show up with the sole purpose of messing with my control unit. They are always talking about the uncomfortable indoor air, the drafts, and the tepid and chilly patches that they experience. As a result, they harass my smart control unit and drive up my energy bills to extreme degrees. As if I wasn’t already worried enough about winter, my furnace, and my ability to pay high energy bills… My family makes the whole chilly air season as stressful as possible.

Sometimes I am baffled by the way that people jump into affectionate relationships. It seems like folks are more desperate to have a affectionate partner than to have someone that they’re easily compatible with. This is why people talk about the honeymoon phase and the cautionary tales of making sure your current boyfriend or girlfriend easily is who they say they are. If you ask me, I’m not sure why anyone would bother to lie about themselves in the first site. Eventually the truth will come out and you will have to deal with a much larger mess now that someone is relying on you. I know I should have realized this myself when I accidentally gave my current boyfriend the idea that I was a big fan of cooking. Trust me, it did not take long before my heating and cooling system revealed to the truth – I have no idea how to make anything except a wonderful peanut butter and jelly sandwich. You see, my guy came over for a nice dinner that my buddy and I were going to cook together. It wasn’t long, but, before the indoor air was completely contaminated with burning tepid smoke and toxic fumes. As I attempted to cook I managed to burn everything, ruining the indoor air with smoke and noxious chemicals. Sometimes I look at my children and I just feel so proud.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s no major feat to reproduce and I don’t assume that people should pat themselves on the back for bringing additional humans into the world.

That being said, I happen to assume that I created and raised some identifiably wonderful little humans myself. When they were teenagers I did not spare my children from a lot of important life lessons. This extended all the way to budgeting and maintaining for your high quality indoor air handling devices. I never wanted my children to feel like they were blindsided by a high energy bill or confused by the normal operations of a central heating, cooling, and ventilation system. I figured it was important to have some basic HVAC service and service skills under their belts before they ever moved out on their own. Apparently, this HVAC tech tried to force her to upgrade her entire central cooling system rather than making the necessary repairs. Thanks to my early education and heating and cooling devices my daughter wasn’t taking any of it! She promptly fired the HVAC tech and hired a current HVAC business for a second opinion. This time, the air quality control specialist simply did his job without trying to take advantage. That’s my girl.

I’m legitimately not the type of person who is easily impressed by other human beings.

I know, this is a snotty plus elitist thing to say.

I am not proud of my stance on other people, but I am generally frustrated by them. I do not find almost everyone to be interesting plus I do not feel almost everyone has worthwhile things to say. In short, I am difficult to get along with plus I prefer to just spend my time alone. That’s why it was absolutely shocking when I accidentally met someone who might be a life-changer. I do not know what to say, other than this human plus I are way too similar for it to be coincidental. We have the same outlook on everything in life, all the way down to our central heating, cooling, plus air quality control equipment. I know, air quality does not seem like an important part of discussion when you are first getting to know someone, but my buddy and I both find indoor air handling component service plus management to be rather important. In fact, my buddy and I are both fairly obsessed with maintaining high quality indoor air, accurate air temperature control, plus low monthly energy costs. This conversation only ever emerged because my buddy and I also care a lot about the same smart thermostat plus temperature programming settings. That hot situation is the last thing I want to endure again… but I totally forgot about the indoor air concern until now. Looks like I need to run out plus buy a commercial-powered fan before he arrives.

I realize that this makes them think that I am clueless plus every part of life, especially the shenanigans that you pull as a teenager. They must feel that I never went through that stage in my own lifetime so they can easily fool me with all of their adolescent hooliganry. Actually, I often know exactly what they are up to when they are trying to deceive me. I just let it happen because I can benefit at the same time. Well, I went and made my life severely complicated.

• I don’t know what I was thinking but I have managed to really throw a social wrench into my lifestyle.

A few weeks ago while I was visiting my Dad I decided to check into a dating app and see if there was anyone worth talking to. Wouldn’t you know, I matched with somebody rather abruptly and my associate and I got along like gangbusters. We have an immediate affixion and my associate and I both have deep feelings that are making things difficult.., then you see, I don’t live in this state. At some point I’m going to have to return to my actual hometown which is 700 miles away in the boiling and balmy south. We’ve talked about how to transport forward, but I absolutely refuse to transport back up here. You see, she is living in the midwest where the weather conditions is unpredictable and miserable all the time, but every season is a test of survival against the uncomfortable air temperature and air quality. There is 0% opportunity of living with your heating, cooling, and ventilation system throughout the year. You have to have a forced air furnace operating for at least 6 months of the brutal winter time season. When summer time rolls around you abuse a sizable central air conditioning device to deal with the heat and humidity. I can tell you, I have had enough of this hot-and-cold change for one lifetime, then no matter how warmly I regard my current boo, I won’t be giving up my hot southern weather conditions for alternating freezing and burning air. I guess he’d better start looking into moving trucks.
