Some suggestions to the owner were reducing solar gain, however contractors were placing window tints on certain windows that receive a lot of sunlight. This was to keep unnecessary heat out. The companys were also installing energy efficient lighting because the outdated lighting fixtures were outdated and also letting off unnecessary heat. I think working in a safe energy efficient and comfortable labor environment is crucial.

I told her at this point she needs to write the houses she wants the most on a card & put it in a hat. She told me it is a serious decision (which I do agree) even though she has becoming certainly indecisive with this whole process. After a week of deciding she finally made her pick. She chose a smaller condo off of a side street. She got a certainly fantastic deal on it however there were some things that she needed to buy & replace. I got a call from her the other afternoon. She told me that she had an appointment with an HVAC serviceman. She told her that she certainly needed a updatement with her HVAC system. She was a little frustrated hearing this because it would cost her a few thousand dollars. She told me that the first thing that the serviceman did was do a manual & commercial load calculation. This would allow my buddy to have the respected size for her new HVAC system. If this calculation didn’t occur, she could have the wrong HVAC system size. If a component is oversized & is too giant for a home, it can increase the capital cost at the time of replacement & extra costs to when the HVAC system runs. I was curious to know all of this because I didn’t realize that an HVAC system had to be sized. Now I know for when I own my condo someday.

Building a condo from scratch is a long process. There are so much to choose from & so various decisions to make when developing a condo into a home. From pouring the foundation to putting up the wood that ultimately designs the house, it is one of the few steps where you can visually see a condo coming together. Once the condo is up with drywall, doors, windows & a roof it becomes more fun for me. I like to pick out the paint colors, appliances & new decor. I will let the businesss do the electrical & HVAC work. The electrician came the other afternoon to complete the electrical work. That is all done & now there’s electricity in our home. The HVAC serviceman came to my condo this week to discuss heating & cooling options. She brought up HVAC duct & showed me pictures of other houses with weird types of HVAC duct. I didn’t realize that there were other materials that were used to supply & return hot & chilly air. Some materials that I saw were building cavities that were made out of wood & wallboard inner surfaces that supply certainly little leakage. Another material was flexible non-metallic ducts. These ducts are flexible & are mainly installed in attics or slim locales. One of the possibilities that my associate and I were interested in was the HVAC duct made out of sheet metal that is made out of galvanized steel. This type of HVAC duct can sometimes leak where sections can join. The other option my associate and I saw was fiberglass duct board that is used to feed smaller ducts.

I have used a custom furniture builder for a few projects now, then first I hired out the guy to do my living room table, however i wanted wood that matched my wood ceiling and something that was built to last.

It was crafted to my exact particularations and I just loved it.

I liked it so much I got a matching cable stand, but since I have an open floor concept the living room table and cable sit literally sat side by side, but after I got them both in the same room, the rest of my house looked terrible. I updated the couch, carpets, and curtains in the house… New pillows were bought and I got the recliner upholstered. I bought some costly end tables and pretty knick knacks… The last thing was the living room disaster. I had a shoe rack that wasn’t absolutely one. I found a little garden sit at a local house store that I felt did a fine task. In my newly updated living room and living room, it looked terrible. The wood looked cheap and was a hideous color. It didn’t have functionality and beauty at the same time. So I reached out to my local builder to help me out. The custom furniture builder was great. I absolutely had no idea what kind of shoe rack I wanted. I provided dimensions and how numerous shoes I wanted it to hold. I also wanted hooks to hold some keys and that was about it. The guy designed an amazing piece of furniture that would serve as a bench and storage area. It also had more than just hooks for keys but for coats too, then my finished piece looks amazing in my home.
